The Silverbird Group, Nigeria’s leading multi media conglomerate and organizers of The Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria pageant, have officially announced the 2021 edition of the most prestigious beauty pageant in Nigeria.
The MBGN beauty pageant has discovered, produced and nurtured exceptional young ladies since its inception over three decades ago, including former Miss World Agbani Darego, lawmaker Lynda Chuba Ikpeazu, Bianca Ojukwu, Adaeze Igwe-Yobo, Actress and Singer Munachi Abii, and more recently Nyekachi Douglas, the reigning Miss World Africa among many others.
Participants for this year’s edition will all be screened virtually online, in observance of Covid-19 safety protocols.
To participate for the 2021 MBGN NOW CLOSED ! candidates were expected to first visit the website : www.mbgnsilverbird.com. Then pay the registration fee of N10,000 naira; fill in the registration form, and upload a one minute video stating why they want to participate in the Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria pageant. This video must be accompanied by two photographs; a 5 by 7 headshot and a full length swim wear picture.
Participants also post their entry videos on instagram using the hashtag #mbgn2021; then tag and follow @silverbirdtv, @937rhythmfm, @mbgn_silverbird www.artdeals.ng
The 2021 MBGN pageant is open to beautiful young Nigerian ladies from across the country and the diaspora who are between the ages of 18 and 25 and have the minimum educational qualification of a secondary school certificate. Pageant hopefuls must also have a valid Nigerian International passport, as the overall winner and first runner up will represent Nigeria at the Miss World and Miss Universe international pageants.
President Silverbird Group and Miss World/Miss Universe National Director, Guy Murray-Bruce has promised that the contestants and the general public will be hosted to a spectacular ceremony when the grand finale holds on September 18th, 2021
