The Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) has officially announced that Mogaji Wole Arisekola, a prominent businessman and publisher of The Street Journal Newspaper, will be honored with the esteemed title of ‘The Most Patriotic Ibadan Indigene (MPII)’. This prestigious recognition is bestowed upon him for his significant contributions to the advancement of Ibadanland and serves as a testament to his unwavering dedication and exemplary service to the betterment of this historic city.
The award ceremony is scheduled to take place as part of the grand finale of the much-anticipated 2025 Ibadan Cultural Festival. This vibrant event is set for Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the iconic Obafemi Awolowo (Liberty) Stadium in Oke-Ado, Ibadan.
