British-Nigerian heavyweight boxing star, Anthony Joshua, has paid a personal tribute to two of his close friends, Sina Ghami and Latif ‘Latz’ Ayodele, by tattooing their names on his body following their deaths in a car accident in Ogun State last December.

The tribute was revealed by London-based Fulham Tattoo, which shared photos of the artwork on Instagram on Thursday. The studio said the former world champion arrived without prior notice for his first-ever session with them.

“Huge thank you to two-time heavyweight champion of the world Anthony Joshua for unexpectedly and unannounced walking through the door a few weeks ago for his first visit with us at Fulham Tattoo London … what a walk in,” the post read.

Ghami and Ayodele lost their lives when the vehicle they were travelling in was involved in a collision with a stationary truck along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on December 29, 2025.

Joshua, who was also in the car at the time of the accident, survived the crash and was taken to hospital, where he received treatment before being discharged and returning to the United Kingdom.

The boxer later attended the burial ceremonies of Ghami, who served as his strength and conditioning coach, and Ayodele, one of his trainers.
