Abuja ~ Former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Robinson Uwak, has been appointed into the Presidential Buhari’s 2019 Campaign Council.
Hon. Uwak is drafted into Youth Mobilisation Directorate of the Presidential Campaign Council to be in charge of mobilization of Akwa Ibom State youths for the President’s reelection. It became necessary to infuse a personality in the likes of Hon Uwak into the youth directorate of the campaign council in other to take advantage of the positive energy and drive in the former federal lawmaker, to help rave up the engine of the campaign. 
Hon. Uwak was a member of Buhari’s 2015 presidential campaign council where he served with the likes of Mr Boss Mustapha, Hon. Abike Dabiri. Gov. Babatunde Fashola, Barr. Ismael Ahmed, etc.
It would be recalled that in 2015, Hon. Robinson Uwak led one of the biggest mobilization in the history of Oro Nation and indeed Akwa Ibom State, gathering an unprecedented momentum which saw the APC clinching a seat in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly in one of the federal constituencies in Oro Nation.
Many observers still insist that Hon. Robinson Uwak who was also the candidate of the APC for Oro federal constituency seat won the March 28, 2015 election overwhelmingly but was denied victory.
According to a source in the know of how members of the campaign council were arrived at, Hon Uwak is re-appointed into Buhari’s campaign in 2019 based on track record and proven capacity and capabilities in mobilization and community organizing.
